This Christmas feels different, not only because we are not going to spend it with family but also, because it’s not just the two of us. There is little Erik too 🙂 It’s definitely not the way we had planned our baby’s first Christmas to look like but we are going to make the most of it.
I will still need to plan something special for Erik to eat but here’s what Keijo and I are planning to indulge on after baby Erik’s done celebrating Christmas. Our Christmas menu 2020.
As always, we’ve done a fair bit of planning to get our menu just right. In previous years, we’ve shared vegan Christmas recipes here on the Antidote Kitchen but this year it’s going to be a lot of fish on our table. A mix of Nordic and French flavours with some Italian wines and dessert.
Unfortunately, we won’t have time to test and create a lot of recipes this year so many of these dishes we are going to be making for the first time (just doing recipe research right now) and hope that they work out and turn delicious. However, I will share a recipe for the Salmon Wreath that we created in case any of you would like to add something new on to your table too. It’s a perfect centre piece if you ask me.
I’ll update pictures of our dinner table here and on social media but now, let the Christmas planning begin!!
